The GameSalad publishing server is experiencing problems. Please try again later.

Yesterday and this evening again. Anyone with same problem?

    I've not tried publishing today, but it was working fine yesterday, although I couldn't submit to Apple due to some ridiculous issue with my Mac game.

    I've not done anything differently to what I did before, so I can only imagine (unless told otherwise) that it's an issue with the GS server.

    It would certainly go some way to explaining people's problems trying to publish at the moment!

    Who knows, right? I think they're lightly staffed (if at all) over this particular weekend, so Jon's probably right saying there won't be a response till Monday or something.

    Though SSS is online at the mo... hmmmm.. :)

    Why can't we just publish directly from the software.

    THIS IS SO ANNOYING.

    There is gotta be somewhere at GS who monitors this

    @QS: For sure is there a server problem. Yesterday I tried several times with no luck, but one time it works. But today the same problem again. Can't publish and can't work with my testers over the weekend. Can't test via testflight in lack of an actual version.

    My dear Santa Claus, please, make it possible to publish via XCODE and help me not to be dependent on the work of others ://

    You do realize that without using GS software and by programming it yourself it would take twice as long if not longer. Besides you need patience otherwise waiting for your app in Apples review will kill you if waiting a weekend is making you mad.

    Good Point FallacyStudio and don't forget all the time we wait for the bus on the bus stop... ;)))

    Sorry, but only because it goes faster with GS than with XCode I must be patient and to wait? And what the hell is the review process from apple to do with it? Please where is the connection?

    It is very simple. The server does not work, so someone must start the server over, or do something so that we can work again. There's nothing bad turn signals, and if no one show the fault, I fear that no one notices it at GS too.

    No offense, but I do not think it fair if you play down my problem, because I lack the time to test.

    Yes. It's the price you pay for not using Xcode. Same with Corona and GameMaker - they all require you sending your app to their servers to get back an app you can put on the app store.

    With Xcode you don't need to do that, obviously.

    I think he's saying that if a few days waiting is excruciating, then waiting for the game to be reviewed will be worse. And I don't think he was addressing it towards you anyway.

    Yes, you're right, it's probably something as simple as turning it off then on again ;) Unfortunately, this has happened during a holiday. I think we'll be lucky if it works again before Monday.

    It's not ideal of course, just very unfortunate.

    Hmm, upload a 6mb app 10 min. ago and server works.
    Maybe to many users at same time try to upload there stuff.

    No, I'm getting this when I upload to Apple:

    "This bundle is invalid. The bundle identifier is already in use by a different software package"

    Except I made the bundle identifier specifically for MAC release of the game, so there's no way or reason that it would clash with any other bundle identifier...

    Very very weird. As I said, I can't think of a logical reason that it's an error on my part. Right now I'm hoping that it's a GS server issue.

    Otherwise I'm stumped! :O

    because we have the pro and free membership different and have different option in the pubish

    @QS:You can check your bundle Identifier in the info.plist file of your app.
    Right Mouse Click on the .app file, open Package and then read the info.plist file. There is a entry and you can compare it against the error message. Just in case for a error from the gs server.

    I've been trying all week and keep getting the same error.

    "The GameSalad publishing server returned an invalid result."

    Anyone got a solution for this, it's quite frustrating.

    I was able to publish twice last night with no problems, sucks that y'all keep getting errors.

    well, still no luck with .9.86, when I try to build, it fails same as before.
    it sits on upload complete, receiving app for about 20 seconds, then fails with the GameSalad publishing server is experiencing problems. I've tried two different projects.
    this is very frustrating.
