Hi Everyone,
I just decided to upload my game BlockCraft to the arcade. I made a little website for it where you can play it:

Blockcraft was a top 100 strategy games iPad and iPhone app. I decided to release it on the web. Enjoy.

ive been working on a sandbox type game like this for a little while now. Ill check it out and let you know what i think.
cheers
Another thing i would make the character fixed rotation, i didn't like him rotating when i hit stuff, it feels like he should always be pointing up.
Just my opinion
@beefy_clyro: You can no longer fly out of the top of the map. Also, you cannot jump endlessly. It gets tricky when I start making him fixed rotation. Basically, the blocks are not 100% lined up (although VERY close), so he snags on the corners occasionally and does not go forward. If he is not fixed rotation, he can sort of flop over the corners.
You can still jump endlessly which defeats the purpose of the ladders. The maps tiny, and theres no caves or anything like that. I seen you had this for iphone and/or ipad which might be your thinking for making it so tiny. To be honest i would scrap it for iphone and ipad all together and go with a mac version. As i said above im working on this type of game, and the way i have it now would never run on a device but runs great on the mac. I also have it set up so it spawns the entire terrain to a random grid position making it alot more interesting with big caves and little tunes and stuff generated and original per each world. Like beefy said the the no fixed rotation makes it weird, which you can solve the problem with out of line blocks by spawning on a grid like i said before. Theres tons of these games out there, you gotta do somethign to really make it stand out. You even get to a point where gamesalad just wont be able to handle it. Im workin on 2 version of my game at once. One in gamesalad and another in C# so when it becomes clear that gamesalad wont be able to handle a mac version, im still good to go. I would love to be able to show this off as made with gamesalad, but im not willing to sacrifice my ideas and fun factors and what not just to make it run. My current world so far has a width of 100,000 and a height of 10000. And i still think its to small.
Just some critism for ya, hope it doesnt sound to harsh just trying to help.
cheers
btw 100,000 wide seems huge! Good luck with your game. Sounds really cool.
