Do apps show up in the new list on Saturday?

If an app gets accepted late friday, and you want the release date for Saturday, will they not show up until monday under new releases? I'm trying to strategize the release :)

    I know in the past I've had apps appear on both Saturday and Sundays, that parts automated. Once it's 'approved', it just waits until it hits your release date.

    Cool, thanks, for some reason I thought apps accepted on Fridays showed up for the entire weekend, then apps set to release on saturday appear monday

    Can someone explain the whole release date strategy thing. Are there better days to release than others? Maybe I'm just a clod, but I don't get it!

    Releasing towards the end of the week is always helpful, either thursday or Friday, Saturdays and sundays seem to be better in terms of sales

    The idea is on the day your app is accepted, change the date to the next day, it's an almost guarantee that your app will then be listed at the top of the new releases for a full day giving you more exposure :)

    how long after getting the email that your app is accepted to do you have to change the date?

    I usually try to do it right away, but I think you have at least an hour? Again depending on how fast the app store gets your app in

    They generally will hit the store bit won't show ip on the new release page for a day or two. I would go for wed release date to azure you are there on he weekend. However I went with Monday just cause I know people avoid it so o think comp is down. Today was my first day on the release and in adventure I am at number 76. In my opinion if it was Saturday I ma have gotten buried and not even ranked. Just my two cents
