Strange thing with AdHoc and Released app

Hi,
I had an odd thing with the app store.
I reduced the price of 2 apps and when I hit download it gives a message saying the reduced price is only available for customers who bought an earlier version. (Translation from the Dutch message).
When I hit ok it says the app is currently being updated and it stops downloading.
What I found is that I had to remove the adhocs of the apps first.
Just so you know might you ever get this.
It scared the crap out of me
