Hi there,
I've got some questions:
I've just bought Game Salad and I got an Subscription Authorization ID. Where should I put this number in? And how can I create an I phone game now? I read something about a gamesalad member program? Is this the same like the gamesalad creator? I also read something abbout a link for an iphone app for gamesalad.
Thanks for your help
alex

Everything you need to know about publishing is on this page(aside from making the actual game)

The walk through is really good.
Once you have made and tested your game and are ready to publish, I recommend going step by step. and keeping this guide open in a separate window while you walk through it.
Its a little overwhelming the first time but soon you will be able to rip through it in no time.
It will prompt you for your auth
but In the moment i have no finished game. I only finished a test scene with to white blocks. I only wanted to test, if it runs on my iphone.
HOWEVER
Keep in mind Game salad is just a game creator, you still have to be registered as a iphone developer.
As long as you have your white block game and you click activate membership that post i gave you will take care of everything else.
If you try to read it and then go try it it wont work, you really have to step by step cause its a little confusing. the apple side of things isnt as easy as making a game with GS.
Think of it this way. Once you are a registered apple developer you can either code a game from scratch and compile it... trust me not easy.
Or you can have game salad do it. Either way setting up as a developer still has to be done separately.
I just find the walkthrough on here easier to understand than apple's explanation
hope that helps
I did activate membership. But what is the subscription authorization id for?

Oh my god! Are you serious?
Read the book! :-P
Or at least the Wiki and the forums.
You don't really think, people will explain everything to you in this thread, just after your liking and how your questions coming....
I do agree that he/she should poke around the wiki and forums a bit more though!
I mean I have no problem when somebody's asking a few basic questions at the beginning (optimally telling that he looked but didn't find), but it seems, he just thinks, some questions come into his mind, he just asks here and somebody will answer.

It won't work this way, my friend, alexulle. You must put at least a bit work into it. Or do you want us to make your game too?
There are differences between noob questions and ignorance. Starting this thread is complete ignorance and I can't let such things without a comment, sorry :-)
Maybe he learns something for life. If you don't tell him, how ignorant he is, he will never learn and will suck your blood more and more. :-)
I didnt do anything until after at least a full night of reading EVERYTHING ON the wiki
After that i pretty much found most things with the trial and error method while searching the forums.
Please if you have a question search first. You will likely find the answer
1) Read the entire Wiki.
2) Play the templates and some various projects that looked interesting online.
3) Open the templates and various projects online that looked interesting and poke around inside them.
4) Browse the forums for a bit noting any useful posts with bookmarks (i.e. stuff that should be in the Wiki that isn't and stuff that sound like "gotchas" or things to note).
5) Targeted browsing of the forums using search (in the upper right corner...the magnifying glass)
6) Playing around with my own test/demo projects.
7) Starting an intended for-sale app project.
8) Apply for a pay GS membership and install GS viewer on the iphone/touch for device testing of project.
9) Add to or modify project, test, repeat occaisionally sprinkling in forums posts as necessary.
I already had an Apple iphone/touch developer account from earlier but if you didn't already have it, it could go in between step 7 and 8.
Steps 1 through 5 probably took me three to five days although I probably played with a few test projects somewhere in there.
