iTunes connect contract question

In iTunes connect I have just entered all my contact, bank and tax details, can I now manage my app straight away or do I need to wait for the new selling apps contract to be in effect - if so how long?

It can take a few days to see your contracts go into effect. You can manage your apps, but I believe anything you upload will no be reviewed or ready for sale until you're contracts are 100% approved.

I can't say with 100% certainty, but I'm fairly sure my contract was in effect immediately. It's maybe been 12 hours now since I filled it out and it's marked in effect so I know it would have been under 12 hours.
