I want you puppet guys to kick arse and make lots of games with puppets as sprites. It could look so cool. Bit of careful green screen would make it pretty easy to grab the images and then... let the madness begin.

Thanks for all the great feedback!

If you guys could leave 5 star ratings or reviews it would really help.

My Goal is to get this app to 1 million downloads.

I hope to add more puppets with in-app purchase once we get that feature :)

In truth I would add behaviours rather than more puppets straight off. This would make it much more fun after a few minutes of playing with the toy. Nodding and shaking of the head would allow you to talk to it and have a basic conversation (I know its sad but it would give me to talk at and it could agree with me).

My App is the 339th most popular lifestyle app in Kazakhstan and 104 in Saudi Arabia. Kind of random and neat at the same time.

kip: I like the nodding idea. Thanks.

Oh I absolutely agree! Adding extra motions and features would really pad out the app in a nice entertaining way. Definitely give it a go!

700 downloads in 4 days as a free app. That's the most I have had on anything so far. I am in the "New" section of itunes in 3 places, not N&N yet, I can still hope for that.

So the Talley is in, 1083 downloads in the first week. Having never launced a free game / lifestyle app before how do those downloads stack up?
  • keweworkshopkeweworkshop Member Posts: 377
I think that sounds good! My app was made free 2 or 3 weeks after it was released and it has been free for over 3 months and I am only at about 1300 downloads. It's not the same thing exactly because mine was not free on launch but I think 1083 is good!

You got this finished before I could do it. ;-) Looks good, and your puppets ( though very similar to a certain tv's shows ) could be a great style of graphics for gaming type content also! Adventures of ... mr. whoever in wherever land.

An "original look" can really make an animation stand out!

Puppets are great! ;-) Cheers to you guys.

My app has passed 2,300 downloads in the first 2 weeks of release. That's a record for me. It's still free so no actual money from it. Mostly Good reviews so far and I love the feedback.

One of my favorites is from the UK app store: "Great simple little app. Good for a laugh with the kids. Made myself laugh a bit too much"

Now if we just had in app purchase I could monetize this thing better.
