Atari's trademark

Hi all,
Atari sent a letter to Apple saying I was violating their trademark in the name of my game "2012 Asteroids".
I already removed the game from the App Store and I want to change the name and publish it again but I'm not sure how to proceed. Should I create a whole new app with new app id and provisioning profiles? Or should I use the existing App Id and provisioning profile and just add a new version of the game?
Any help is welcomed. Thanks.

    I would change the name of the app and not have any references to their game, ie. do not have a similar gameplay aspect.

    I will do that. Change the name and create a totally new app, I hope Apple is ok with that. Their only issue was with the use of their trademark.
