Hi everyone!
I'm extremely happy to be able to show this forum a preview of the game I've been working on since the hour we received our iOS keyboard update as well as introducing you all to the two main characters of many many many upcoming games I'm working on, Simon and Mojo.
Simon & Mojo: Bath Time is based off of my love of the old keyboard input games like King's Quest. I also wanted to show exactly how powerful of a tool the iOS keyboard can be for functioning as a major part of the gameplay in our projects. It's been a lot of work and a lot of head scratching at times, but I'm very excited about what it has become.
Key features include:
Highly dynamic text input allowance - I have created the logic so that you can progress in game with both a basic command style or dynamic conversational style. Tell Simon what you want him to do, and tell him however you want to!
Great "Paper Pixel" style graphics - That's got a great ring to it, ey?
Over 125 Audio feedback responses - It's not just about giving Mojo his bath. Have fun communicating with Simon and Mojo to see what kind of crazy or funny responses you'll get. Don't be shy. Ask or say anything you want to.
10 unlock-able trophies - There are 10 trophies to unlock. It's your task to figure out how to do it! I've also made it so you can delete the trophies at any time so that you can hand the game over to a friend and see how fast they can figure it all out.
Here are a few screenshots of the game.
Feel free to tell me what you all think!
When I'm finished there will be an iPhone and iPad version available as well as a full HTML5 version available so the world can share it. Right now I'm just crushing a couple of minor bugs and working out my marketing strategy. I want to release this thing right!

If the gameplay still works I don't know.
On my c64 I played a lot text based adventures and loved them.
So perhaps there is a new generation who likes it too.
Is that a beagle??

So far the testing I've been doing has turned out quite positive. The audio adds a ton to the experience. I'm interested to see how it's received on a much larger scale.
Mojo's a mutt! We know he has collie and beagle features. His legs are really short though...It's a bit of a mystery really.
I actually started a text adventure a few weeks ago - as in, just text - no images!
It was based off a very small one I wrote a few years ago - a 'port' if you will!
If I get some time I might release it as a free game!
But I like how yours is essentially a graphic adventure with text input - looks lovely!
Good luck with it!

This game is actually a bit of a 'port' as well. It's the first project I started working on when learning Xcode, but I abandoned it when I switched over to GS full time.
It's a testament to the speed of a GS project if you optimize it right. I was concerned starting out because I knew I'd be dealing with around a thousand behaviors and hundreds of conditions. Not having arrays to work with could cause some potential performance and load time issues, but I've noticed no problems in these areas. I'm looking at a single load time of about 5 seconds on a 4th gen iPod Touch and 3 seconds on an iPad 2. Results from beta testing will be coming back soon but so far, so good. That's including 130 audio files and about 50 images.
In the words of Larry David, I think that's...
