How do you publish just for iPhone 3GS & Touch with ArmV7 processor? Reading in the Apple forums and help is helpful, how do you set the Info.plist file to say build for ArmV7 using GameSalad!

Mr Codemonkey, any ideas?

Need to set valid architectures to Armv7 only & Archtecture to be optimised for Armv7. But where do i set this when publishing to GS?

@Quantum S, noticed you were going to try and build your game for 3GS only, did you do it?

    If so How?

Do I edit the Info.plist file manually on the compiled game that i download from GS before uploading to Apple? I assume this would have to be the method required because i cannot find any other way.

Anyone know about this? GameSalad gurus at Gendai?

    Hey Toby,
sorry not replied before - at work and on phone!

Can't check myself, but I think there's an option in iTunes connect to specify device type - it's in the section where you fill in the app's details.

Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home...

Thanks QS, yes know about that. Unfortunately that menu only allows you to select 2nd gen devices and above which is Armv6 and Armv7 (3G / 3GS) I'm getting close to the correct solution just need the coding folks at GS to confirm this is the correct method by modifying the info.plist file.

I get the impression I'm talking to myself here, surely someone from the GameSalad crew can comment or knows the correct GS way for configuration?

You're kidding right, I was hoping for some super-duper direct chat window or VNC type session to explain my problem to someone................guess I'll write an email.

It's not really direct support is it.

I've done some more reading and worked out what needs to change, I need to alter the info.plist file before it gets uploaded and compiled by GameSalad. Altering this file after it has been compiled into an ipa file just creates an error at upload to iTunes connect.

The binary you uploaded was invalid. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate.

Because the info.plist file changed, basically. I tried an unmodified .ipa file and it uploaded just fine to itunes connect.

So a feature to be added I guess, can the GameSalad guys compile it for me perhaps if i provide the game file and the profiles etc?

@toby for direct support please email us at our contact email. Depending on your case, we will establish even more "direct" support with you as needed (either through a skype, IM, or phone).

As a general rule, we don't compile platform specific releases, but as a pro member please contact us directly and we'll see how we can meet your needs.
