Sending app problem

Hello!
I started to send update for my app today, but I accidentaly turned it off. So I tried to start it again, and I saw the message that the app is still sending.
Few minutes ago, I've got an e-mail, that the update is waiting for review. I'm just wondering - is this normal, that the App Loader works if it's turned off?
Is this possible, that the file will be corrupted, because the App Loader was turned off?

Did the computer cut off, or just the Application Loader?

I accidentaly hit X button. The App Loader was still available in Dock, but I couldn't show it again, so I right clicked it and chose End Application (have no idea how to call it, I have polish version of Mac OS).
