White Flash After Custom Splash Screen

Hey Chaps and Chapesses of the GS Tech & Bug domain,
I see the white flash is still present after my custom splash screen switches to my first scene. It wouldn't notice if I were transitioning between a white or light background on both. However, like some others here I'm going from black to black. It's super ugly and I'm assuming it's not a huge thing to fix. Perhaps not too many have mentioned it so it's moved down the list of priorities? I know it's been there since at least the Spring and was hoping it could be corrected by now.
I perhaps might not say anything but this is touted as a Pro feature and bought into by customers so it might be worth an official response if someone gets a chance.
