Hey guys,
After just under a month I had my first day with 0 sales. I said to myself that when this day arrives I would make the game free. So I am happy to announce that His Adventure will be completely FREE for 48 hours. From the 8th to the 10th of September you can download this addictivly fun and challenging game! Get it while it lasts!

He's lost and has to get home. He can't do it alone and needs your help. Take control of the platform and guide him though over 70 unique and challenging levels.
Help him collect all 216 stars by using switches, avoiding saws, balancing over lava and being thrown into the dark.
His Adventure combines cute hand drawn art with accurate and precise touch controls. Control the platform by simply moving your finger on the screen. Your task is not that simple, be sure he avoids the moving saws and obstacles whilst collecting as many stars as possible. You're going to have you use your precision to get them all- be quick, some of these stars don't hang round forever!
Easy to learn and intuitive to play, His Adventure is hard to put down and can be played by anyone. Packed with 4 worlds with new game mechanics, challenging stars to collect and obstacles to avoid. Can you make it to the end?

I signed up with Appannie just now, and got a heckuvan in-depth look at my stats. I hadn't sold a single unit in over 2 straight weeks, so I made my game free for a week to see what would happen. 500 downloads in two days (hey, for me, that's great!)! And Appannie says I broke the top 90 in Action Apps and am #61 for arcade apps for Japan's store. Alas, still no new reviews... ;-)
Without doubt, GameSalad has been a fun experience, despite next-to-zilch sales. I already have my second quickie app in the works (for free), just to pad the portfolio. Hope it'll be done soon!

44,000 downloads on the 10th, bringing it to a total of just under 140,000 downloads!
Still topping the charts in France, 3rd in Belgium and rising in Europe and Asia. Dropping in the US and UK....shame
The reviews are doing better than expected too. Average of 4 stars for all the stores. No complains for loading times either
Top spot has gone in France, It's now 5th. The game will go back to paid on the 12th. Won't get todays free download numbers until tomorrow. The full and lite version (unfortunately) are also featured in the whats hot section for adventure games in the UK. It's a pretty niche and dark corner of the appstore, but it's there.
Will see how sales go tomorrow after going back to paid. I'm not expecting a great deal to be honest, and I don't think I should. The main thing is that I have my name out there right now and I have the claim of hitting the topspot so I'm happy!

His Adventure got just over 30,000 downloads on Sunday September 11th.
It is now gone from the Whats Hot section. I thought it would stay but I suppose it's expected considering the price change back to free. It was really my only hope of getting any significant sales for today (won't find out until tomorrow) but I don't mind.
I have written and about to send off emails to a bunch of websites again, so I'll see how that plays out for me.

Todays app annie report states 2,000 downloads with an underwhealming $30. I'm guessing with the different time zones it must have still been free in some countries. Got 25 new reviews with an average of 4.4.
$30 was completely expected though. Tomorrow will be the last update (unless I get featured in FAAD) as it will be paid in all stores.
