Based on the figures I observed last night, I am really curious and interested in knowing how you obtained over 250 "likes" and over 250 "comments" to your youtube video but only had just over 300 views total. That is an insane ratio. In fact, some of the most popular youtube videos of all times don't even have a ratios even close to that. Most of the comments are 1-3 words and quite a few of the comments have been deleted which is odd. Also, checking the video, there has been around 150 more views to your videos but hardly any new comments or likes. Like I said, curious.

    So what gives? : )

Yea looks like a cool game! Good luck with sales!

But I can't help but to agree with 8BitGrenade here. I looked at the video on Ytube and the comments don't look legit. Did you buy them?

    +1

Especially because half of them talk about what a great song. Its just weird

Since there is a song with the gameplay video, technically "a great song" comment does work. But your reply, Steve, got me to pay more attention to the comments. Here are my favorites : )

    1) "Dude, those are some sick moves"

    2) "The lyrics are beautiful" (there is a song in the video, but not one lyric)

    3) "Very nice tutorial"

    4) "This song is a very good song. If you listen to the words, you will get it. (again, there is a song, just no lyrics)

    5) "Awansome!" (exact comment posted by 2 different users)

    6) "Subbed! This was great!" (exact comment posted by 2 different users)

Now I'm really curious. I initially thought it was an online community that helps each other out for fake money but now I wonder if it's a software that generates these comments?

...and I'm super curious to what all of the deleted comments said! : )
  • Plus the music is certainly not his! The song is called traktor by wretch 32 which was a big hit in the UK and is also used in the google ad about the creator of sbtv. As it hasnt got lyrics maybe you created the backing track (highly unlikely)

So looks like he's bought reviews and views but realistically, if he can make a claim like that and spread it around loads of forums, it'll get genuine attention and that may well turn out to be quite a clever little marketing technique.

    @beefy

Sure it might be a clever marketing technique but very unethical and people don't like being lied to specially when they are making a decision weather or not to buy a product. Imagine if Samsung paid best buy to put 300 amazing reviews of their hdtvs in their website so you can fool customers then when you actually buy the tv is not really what you expect.

I just think its uncool thats all, besides The game is a good game and its quite quite polish as it is. You don't need to lie about being a youtube smash hit with 200 likes in one night.

Granted but its not really the same as your example. If it was app reviews on the app store then yeh, the way i see it, its to get you to watch the video, if you then like it, buy it, if not, dont.

Why you guys hating on the guy, just let him be.

I don't even think you can buy YouTube comment reviews, can you ??? And even if he did so what its not like he is scamming people he is just getting people to watch his video which is what every YouTube video creater wants.

So guys please just leave him alone and only leave a comment on your opinion and thoughts of the game, not if he bought reviews on YouTube and if there fake or not.

    Yep So We have

    MSstudio
    MalikiStudio
    BIGmac-Apps

All the same person. I bet if I really dig I can find more you have created. You can do all the unethical BS you want on Youtube and the AppStore. Just knock yourself out. But it wont be tolerated on this forum. We don't take kindly to liars. More of this type of stuff will ensure you are banned from this forum.

    Thanks

Look guys, I'm REALLY SORRY for any inconvenience I've caused. I'm new to Gamesalad and this was my first game. All I wanted was to get people to see my game so that's why I named this "YouTube smash hit", and I'm going to be completely honest, I haven't bought any of those reviews, zero. Or any of those views on YouTube. I would waste my money on any of that. I hardly have enough money to buy a Apple development membership so why would I waste my money on reviews on YouTube, plus I'm only 15 so I would have any of that cash.

Sorry again for any inconvenience I have caused.

Hope I can gain some trust back from Gamesalad users.

well, they are still fake. Most of the youtubers viewed, commented, liked and faved the video - all in one. a real person wouldn´t do that.

so much for marketing fail ;)

For all we know it could of been built using TSB's tiki totem template. Seriously guys lighten up a little, whether they are genuine views or not, its not really scamming people to buy his app, its just to watch the youtube video and decide for yourself whether to buy it or not

Yes I agree. I'm gonna close this thread down. if he wants to do this stuff on other sites by all means. We are just not going to put up with that stuff on this forum.
