Determine price when publishing?

Is there no way to determine the price of your game when publishing?

Does apple do that for you?

Or am I being stupid like I have in the past? (don't ask)

I'm intrigued, master200012! Whatever it was, as long as you weren't arrested for it....

You set the price for your own app (within Apple guidelines). :-)

Okay, another stupid question. Is itunes connect basically like itunes?

    If not what is it?

    And I was never arrested.

you need an Apple Developer Account. The Itunes connect is where you control your apps on the app store. It Sounds like you do not even have a developer account.

    no it is not.

    go to

    itunesconnect.apple.com

Sign in with your developer account and add your app. If you don't know what itunes connect is how did you publish your app? You need to add a provisioning profile and a app in itunes connect.

    Go to manage applications
    Click on add app
    enter info
    upload binary
go to rights and pricing set price tier
    wait for apple to review
    release app

So it asks you to give a support url. Is this what gamesalad helps you with or do i have to make on on my own?
  • youngster9youngster9 Member Posts: 326
Enter your website or a website with info on the app
  • master200012master200012 Member Posts: 372
Wait a minute! I just did almost all of this stuff when publishing on Gamesalad's publishing button. Why do I need to do it again?

Because GameSalads thing has nothing to do with Apple. Its for a GameSalad page dedicated to your App that never really happened as planned.

Yes like tendrmer said you can leave 99 percent of the stuff gs asks you blank. The stuff on itunes connect is the actual info for the appstore and apple and everything. While were on the subject of the url keep in mind it has to be a working url or a site thats up that u put in itunes connect or your app will get rejected due to metadata.

  • youngster9youngster9 Member Posts: 326
