Here you go 37639LEHM4FJ Thanks for trying my game. And yes, the battery apps were made by me.

Could you also leave a review about the game on this thread?

    Thanks

The game looks good, but those battery apps are all identical... They don't seem like they do anything even though theres three of them that cost a buck each... Sorry to be off topic, but I just don't like seeing things like that in the app store.

Thanks RKS. I really like the idea of the screen turning green when you get it correct. I might do this in an update. Thanks for leaving a review of the app on iTunes :)

m456arcus, These battery apps are fully functional and are very accurate. I would not put non working apps on the app store.

Could the person that voted that the game is horrible in the poll please explain why? I would like to make this and excellent app and appreciate feedback. Thanks

Rod, they aren't saying the battery apps don't work. They're saying they all do the EXACT same thing. Same screenshots and everything.

By the way, also off topic, but you have the same "jim123456789" rating two of your battery apps a 5 star, when all the other ratings are very low. It seems very sketchy. Pardon me if its a mistake, but you probably shouldn't write fake reviews for your own apps.

That was me writing those reviews. They are not fake because I wrote them and there isn't a rule that you can't review your own app.

Reviews are supposed to be impartial and written by your customers - i.e. those that buy the app, not the person that made it.

It just comes across as disingenuous and misleading, and is a practice rightly frowned upon.

Ok, well most of my recent apps I haven't reviewed myself. I created this app over a year ago when I was starting out and just wanted some people to buy the app.

After looking at all the apps you have put out I just have to ask are you serious?!

I voted this game is horrible because it looks like something you would spend 5 minutes doing, know all the answers, and be out a buck when there are hundreds if not thousands of well made apps that sell for 99c that would entertain for waaay longer and it seems a consistent threat in all of your apps. Sorry.

I've been working on several games, and I've stopped working on many for one simple reason. I ask myself... would I enjoy playing this game? Would I spend a buck on this game?

Would you spend a dollar on your game?

In general, if you're going to do a trivia type game, you should make it free, since there is rarely enough unique content to make it worthwhile. An exception would be if the information could be deemed useful, such as an app that tests your knowledge on U.S. history.

Make apps that you would enjoy using.

I would spend a dollar on this app. What are some of the games that you guys have out on the app store and how much money are you guys making a day?

Your battery apps look like a scam and reviewing your own apps is low.

Skyline seems like an effective simple idea, but based off what people have said perhaps it isn't fleshed out enough. With a National Geographic budget and positioned as a trivia knowledge app I imagine it could be pretty cool.

My battery apps are not a scam. They are fully functional battery apps and very accurate. Skyline is a very fun app to play and I would say that it is fleshed enough.

Ok, I plan to add more to it in updates. I am actually making 6 copies of this app as follows iPhone, iPhone Free, iPad, iPad Free, Mac, Mac Free

Skyline for iPad is also now available. Check it out!

How can 7 people say the game was horrible in the poll if I have only given out 1 promo code?
  • TheHooglerTheHoogler Member Posts: 102
Users can usually discern the quality of a game based on its description and screenshots. I should probably mention that I haven't voted.
  • MegapixelIdeasMegapixelIdeas Member, PRO Posts: 476
Oh Ok. I still think that people shouldn't vote unless they have played the game though.
