ios 4.2.1 but can only choose base sdk 4.3 in xcode??

read through all the other topics here.... when i open viewer i get the "wifi connected, waiting for gamesalad creator" message. just sits there forever. no "preview on iphone" icon appears in gs creator either. i noticed on tshirtbooths video that if the icon wasnt next to the play icon in gs then that he goes back and changes the base sdk to the one "thats on your device" ok problem. i can't choose my base sdk, and apparently, its impossible to upgrade it to 4.3. im on a 2nd gen ipod touch which has stopped ios upgrades at 4.2.1. i hope thats not the issue for it not connected and its just something to do with the router (like the multicast option that i cant seem to find). any insight appreciated.

    Any progress with this issue?

On a 2nd gen ipod I can install the 0.9.7.1 viewer.

And games will load up. But they won't work properly - no movement of any actors at all. And that goes for GS templates too.

I also have 'overriding base sdk to 4.3' in xcode despite the device OS being 4.2.1

not yet im afraid. ive been happily testing on adhoc builds still but i did try to attempt to get the viewer to work again a couple of days ago and i got the same result. still "waiting for creator" . the ipod and the creator can definetly communicate because when i shutdown GS the message on the ipod changes to the "no connection" thing.

im fine with not using the viewer but it would be handy if i could access those memory numbers still. performance is really good on my app but i dont want to get ahead of myself and start adding actors all over the place when i might not have enough ram left to utilize.
