Export problem

When I try and export my game - the software creates a file with the name I gave it but it picks up the icon and code from the Chess program on the Mac. Game Salad is installed under applications on my mac I created a separate folder to store my game projects. The chess program is also under the applications section.
What's going on with this? I'm totally confused on this one.
