Help! How to send Game to Xcode / Apple Store?

Hi Everyone,

Very new here, just built my first game with GameSalad (Grab Grannies Buns!), but need a litle help with understanding what happens next.

I'm OK with the build and deploy onto my testing iPhone using my Developer profiles etc.

I seem to be struggling (or understanding) how to send my GameSalad game to the App Store.

I have all the accounts, certificates etc in place (Apple, Certs, Profiles, GameSalad etc). The game is built, and my Application is setup and ready in iTunes Connect.

What do I send (upload) to the the iTunes Connect window?

Here's what I've done so far:
1. Published game using iPhone from within GameSalad Creator.
2. Using my Distribution Profile.
3. This returned to me a [.app] file of the game.
4. Using GameSalad online account, downloaded the iPhone Project.
5. Renamed the downloaded project with a [.zip] at the end.

Now what do I do?

Do I just upload the [.Zip] file to iTunes Connect?

Only, I looked inside the Zip file and it's a GameSalad Project File. If I Show Package Contents, I see my assets etc, but all my images are blank or look corrupt?

I thought the project / file (or something) needed opening up in XCode, then building?

Any help would be appreciated, It's taking longer to figure this out than it was to learn Objective C!

Thanks in advance.

..I think I was over complicating things.

Just noticed other threads, and it seems you just ZIP up the [.app] file retrieved from GameSalad and submit that.

I had Googled the question and it came back with all sorts - Xcode, etc etc... looks like you don't need to do that anymore.
