Just want to give you guys a brief glimpse of my first title made with GS.

It's a classic side-scrolling shooter featuring plenty of levels, huge boss battles and hand-drawn cut-out visuals. I'm quite far along and plan to release it in a couple of weeks but I'm still deciding whether or not to keep it in greytones or add colors.

Let me know what you think :)

And a short teaser showing off various levels including a boss battle
    - sorry for the bad quality and lack of sound (Quicktime screen recorder is not that amazing) but hopefully you'll get the idea :)

It's supposed to be B&W but I'm still considering whether or not to add colors. What do you think?

Perhaps go different colour monotone but with a different line tone on each level? Might be interesting? If you have objects and text without background you can do the art in white and then colour it with the colour values in GS in the actor, and switch them if you want to. This is a pain if you have blank areas in the art that you want white against colour line as the white is effected by the GS colour tweaking. But I would have a play with colour values in GS as it a good way to get looks quickly and have them changeable within the game.

I have been playing around with colors a bit, including GS's color values, but haven't found the right style just yet. Guess I'll have to see when I finalize all graphical elements towards the end.

Looks really good. We've been thinking about doing a Black & White game (reckon we will). Your's looks pretty cool and I do like the B&W artwork.

And like SlickZero asked: Where's the music from? in your trailer it's pretty cool.

    Good luck with the Sales

Great work. It's looking good and I hope it sells for you and look forward to more from you.

    cheers kipper

the music...I think it might well be a self composition as I think I recognise a garageband sample.

p.s. reminded me a little of Richard Condie...
