How long before apps show on category list?

Just wondering how long the delay should be from "ready for sale" to listing on categories page. It looks to be atleast a day for me unless it doesn't show up tonight/tomorrow morning... normal?

If you haven't already done so, log back into iTunes Connect and change the release date of your app to today/tomorrow. That is the day it will appear in the App Store (usually, sometimes there's a delay)

Can you search for your game in the store? If so, it will say when the release date is in the info under the screenshots.

You need to update the release date when you get your "your app is ready for sale" email, otherwise the release date will be when you submitted your app, and it will "silently" be placed into the store.

Ah, so it says release date is 23rd but I had the release for the 20th because I submitted the 18th. So if I change it to 24th it should show up tomorrow as new?

Well, I don't see it in the list under action or acrade (my categories) anywhere, so would you think it's not posted yet but will later?

I see your game in the iTunes store, but if you look in the arcade section, you'll notice how all the dates are still saying the 22nd...

Apple will most likely release all of the 23rd and 24th releases tomorrow.

I wouldn't do anything yet, and see if appears tomorrow.

They did the same thing with Danger Cats!, it sorta sucked because they dumped all the next day's apps immediately on top of mine. I didn't get any of that first page for a day lovin'! Oh well.

Your game is great, btw! I'll buy/review it when I get a chance! I've been swamped lately with my game for the MacWorld competition....

Thanks Firemaple I actually already switched it to release tomorrow after ur first response and it looks like it's off itunes for now. But maybe it will help to have it set for 24th so I can get some "first page for a day lovin'." lol Good luck w/ the contest! P.S- are you gonna be able to go to Macworld? (Im sure ur at least a finalist)
