Hey so for some reason my "ipod device" isn't showing up in xcode which means I can't use my ipod for the viewer. My itouch is plugged in.

It says make sure you are in "Device and Release". I'm in release, just don't have the device showing. Here's where is says that...

and here's a screen shot of my computer.

"Click on the Picture for a better view, Look to the right of the screen where it's not showing the device"

Hopefully this is an easy fix. I just updated xcode so it can't be xcode. I'm ready to preview my game on my Itouch (::::

*edit* by the way my device is showing up in itunes

trying to sort the viewer myself too....

but i think your device is there in your screen shot,

where you have dropped down the menu, it is set to release, above it, you are still selected to simulator not device.

I'm looking in the drop down box in the top left area of your screen shot.

Hope that makes sense and helps....feel free to solve my problem :-) also on the forum

But it gives me this error when I build it...

Code Sign error: The identity 'iPhone Developer' doesn't match any valid certificate/private key pair in the default keychain

Hopefully we can figure my problem and yours out.

you need to add you certificate to the project in Xcode.

    In your toolbar...

Project > edit project settings > Build > code signing and select you developer certificate.
