cant publish game app guidline 10.6: user interface problem

greetings!
so i submitted an app a week ago and it was in review and just today i got an email saying it was rejected because of app guidline 10.6. the guidline states that the user interface essentially isnt good enough, YET im using a tried and true template from one of the greats here on the forum. so im wondering what do i do? i mean it was tested, it works and it works well, but it was rejected for something that other games were accepted with?
has anyone else run into this problem? what did you do? if it is something i can fix, can i resubmit the game? i need some help!
