Do you need an iPad to build iPad only apps.

Salutations,

I've been looking earnestly for an answer to this as I can't seem to get an iPad app to pass code sign verification... I have no trouble doing this with iPhone apps. Could this be because I do not actually have an iPad to test on?

    You could do this but you probably should test it on the device first.

    You don't have to have one to make them but you also will have no idea hiw they play on the device so that would not be very responsible a's a developer now would it?

    Well, has anyone actually had success in publishing without one? I going to get one for the very same reason that you two mentioned, but I did try to upload an app that I'm confident would work well... but the signature kept coming up as invalid. I have released several iPhone apps with no problems.
