0.95 and white screen after the custom white-labeled splash screen

this was in 0.94 and still is in 0.95. After the custom splash screen is shown, then there's a white screen and then my game starts. Why is this? How do you workaround this issue? I've seen tshirt's game tinyballs on the ipad and it doesn't suffer from this. Am I missing something?

Its on everyGame. Depending on how much data is loading in the first scene will determin if it lags or just flashes through. Also the device will make a difference.
