Hello All,

My partner and I purchased MathZee (mathzee.com) a couple months ago and I have turned to GameSalad to develop our games instead of outsourcing. I am pleased to announce that we have released our first game that we developed which is called Balloon Academy HD for the iPad and I am working on finishing up the iPhone version now.

Balloon Academy is an educational game focused on helping Pre-K to Kindergarten children learn colors, shapes, numbers and counting.

    I took a quick look at your game, and played a few levels.

    My first impressions: I like the balloon popping idea, think this is simple and will be engaging for kids. You've thought about building progression into the learning levels, and there is a chance for them to repeat before playing.

    On the down side: There is an awful lot of text, that could probably be replaced with images making everything much more intuitive. Remember, kids at this age can't read. Have you tested the game with kids?

    My wife runs a daycare. When I get a chance, I'll have a few children try the game to see how much they can do without any instruction.
