It's free to publish a game with GameSalad, but in order to put it on the app store, you have to have a Apple Developer account, which is a separate company with separate policies, etc…

so you have to pay 99 EUROS(!!!) for publishing an app that's worth €0.79

I dont know how many different ways you can be told this.. YES you need to pay the 99 dollar for the apple account in order to submit to the appstore. theres no other way. and 99 a year is extremely extremely cheap to be able to publish a unlimited number of apps to the appstore worldwide...

If you think you can get the money back ask your mom or somebody to give you the money if not wait till you get a bank account and try with you r own money... but yes you have to pay $99 bucks to publish...

so, i actually can stop with gamesalad, cause apple wants me to give them€99...

    Gamesalad is free
Apple costs 99 per year to put an app in the AppStore or on a physical idevice

There us no other way around it, or to think about it. It costs $99 a year. If you are under 18 as many people who use gamesalad are, go under your parents account.

I feel sad for ya, BlueBlinky. I hate seeing young creative enthusiastic minds thwarted by money issues. I have some ideas for you:

1: Get together with some friends to work together, if you have two people for coding, two people for graphics, and one for sounds and music, then you can each pitch in 20 euros each and get an account.

2: Check out the apple site for educational possibilities, they are very good at helping students learn and use tech.

    3. Talk to teachers or your school, maybe you can make a game as a class project. Once again, Apple might have some resources for this. They love Education.

Good Luck, and never give up!

Hey BlueBlinky...i'm fifteen, and have about 5 apps that I put into the app store...(not to boast lol)
just get your parent or relative to sign you up! I know that $100 (or however much euros) sounds like a lot of money, but it gets payed of pretty quickly. :)
If you still don't want to pay the money, you could always send me your game file, and I would be glad to put it in the app store for you...of course, you wouldn't make any money off it.

LOL so you expect him to just give you his Game. Geez. I would at least give the guy a cut of the sales.

I would put it in the app store as a free game. Anyways...if he's not going to get the dev acc., then what else is there to do with it?!?
