Cant open GS File?

So i been working on my next game here for a few weeks now. i updated to 9.3 and had to replace all the sprites. fun x.x anyways i took a break for a few days and come back and i cant seem to open my GS file now.
i tried restarting GS, restarting my computer, uninstalling GS and re-installing, copying and trying to open the copy, open the copy on another machine and no matter what i just get a loading circle on the file. is this because i saved the file from 9.2 to 9.3?

PS i tried the renaming the file thing and it still dose not work.
