    Retro gamer heaven!

    Mix great retro graphics and music with a simple but fun and addicting gameplay mechanic (dodge stuff), add a dash of ridiculous storyline and you get Trash Drop, just about the perfect retro iOS game!

    Well done, sir! I think my only minor quibble with the game is with the tilt controls. It's kind of hard to get accurate control of the character via tilt.

    Well thank you, I'm glad you liked it.

    I've been thinking of adding the option for button controls, I just know from when testing it in the player using a keyboard it is much easier and looses a little bit of it's funness.

    Actually, the more I play it, the more the tilt controls grow on me. The inherent inaccuracy in tilt controls can be worked around in Trash Drop by planning ahead and changing directions a lot.

    I hear you about using a different control method and it changing the gaming experience. I was contemplating adding tilt controls to my game, Pot of Gold, but because I designed it to be played by dragging the pot across the screen with your finger, the tilt controls made the game unplayable. To keep up with the dropping coins/powerups, the pot would have to be really fast and sensitive when tilting and that only made the game impossible to play beyond a few seconds.

    Still playing and loving Trash Drop! Did the Freebie Friday sale help your sales on Saturday/Sunday?
