I agree with GamersRejoice. You should definitely talk up your game (calling it fun/addictive/mind-blowing/whatever) but I don't think you can call your own game a "game of the year candidate" or "best game". That needs to come from a 3rd party (a review, poll, article, etc.) which you can then quote. Otherwise, it's bordering on false advertising and is pretty transparent to the viewer for what it is.
