*** ABC Blast is out! Fun Educational Game for Young Kids ***
Hi All,
We are very proud to announce that ABC Blast is out in the iPhone App Store ( http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/abc-blast/id419270311?mt=8&ls=1 ). It is an educational game for young kids in which they need to fly Pepper the Plane and collect letters that create animal names. The game offers features such as rewards and unlockable mini games while teaching animal names, sounds and letters recognition. The gameplay is very simple to allow even the youngest kids to play (press on the screen to go up, release to go down), but still offers a bit more for older kids (e.g. collecting stars for additional bonuses). There is plenty of voice over guidance and encouragement while having fun with no failure, frustration or game over.
We still have a few Promo Codes left, please PM me if you want one and willing to write an App Store review.

It is fun to see something like that with gamesalad, not as a technical achievement but more as a complete product.
I saw on the description that the voice was done by some actress, may I ask how did you got to her and how much you paid? I looked for voice over in the past but prices were $600 plus even for a small script.

Found a small bug in the first mini game. When you touch the grass where you have unlocked animals, you still hear the sound and see the name.
Must say that this is the only minor issue I found, overall the game is great and my daughter loves it.
P-O-M already told me about this bug, the update is already in Apple hands.
I seems to miss you previous question on the voice over, I used a website called voices.com and the concept is great. I got more than 80 auditions in my price range.

She did a superb job on voice over work, and was reasonable with pricing

I used an actress by the name of Mandy Kaplan, she was very nice and reasonably prices as well. I think Voices.com have a nice system in place, out of +80 auditions most of them actually read my script which made the selection process much more informed from my prospective. I will definitely use them again.

It's a combination of Soundstage and iMovie
Soundstage - basic, initial recording
iMovie - Editing and jumping captions
Since 'ABC Blast' is still doing well on the App Store (the Lite version is parking in the top 50 in US word games and driving nice sales), we decided to release an iPad version with updated graphics and some improvments.
So, 'ABC Blast HD' is going out on 9/1 for iPad along side with an iPhone update that will include similar graphics update.
Next update we will introduce more levels and mini games.

Not sure, but given that it is already on iPad landscape mode it should be an easy task.
Right now I will probably focus on adding more content and a new game. I have been busy in the last few months and did not released anything new.
Hope to see Spin the Nut as #1 in games this Friday!
