Do i nd to create new profiles for new app id created?

Hi guys,
I need to confirm this, do i need to change the provisioning profile everytime i create new apps with new app ids? cos the appname would be different if i use back the previous profile.

if it is a new App, YES you need

but if it is the same App, but you just need to add the device ids,
then you Still need to "modify" instead of create new provisioning profile

and this is assuming you want to create an adhoc/just want to install your app in a device?
