Hey all...if you have apps that you would like to see in the App store, but don't want to pay the $99 fee. Just send me the game file of your gamesalad game, and I would be glad to Publish it for you!

My email is support@coffeechuggers.com

Note: You will not be making money, but you wont be losing it ether! If you are in this for the fun of making games, you don't want to be paying to let people play your game!

If you want to be getting money for your game, but don't want to pay apple, we could try to work that out to. Maybe use paypal or something. I would give like 50%

When you email me, say wether you want to make money, or just have it put in the app store!

support@coffeechuggers.com for more info on distributing your app to the app store for Free!

50% for publishing games:) Guess it better than paying 99$/year. But aren't you worried that you name/company will be associated with really crappy apps? If you're 13 years(example) old and don't want to invest 99$ into you hobby/business, I doubt that they're putting much effort into the game.

first stop posting the spam all over, second how are you gonna publish for people without a dev account?

This is very unthought out business proposition. First of all you advertise that you are in no better position to publish than the others you want publish for and second of all you have no idea how you want handle a revenue share, payments, etc..

And you are asking for a $100 donation because of financial difficulties. So, basically you are asking someone to give you $100, and an app, and you will publish it for them, and maybe give them 50%. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but nobody in their right mind would do that.

You've obviously put some work into your iWeb site, but maybe be a little more clear on how the revenue sharing is done, and maybe pay the $100 dev account fee yourself. I would be immediately scared off if a company is asking for a $100 donation because of financial difficulties.

100$? Financial difficulties? So you just want to earn money from games that you didn't make with an dev account that you didn't pay for? LOL

Sure, for a 14 year old they look nice. But do you think customers on the appstore care? If I see some bland apps i dont think that I should buy it because it was made by a 14 year old.

You dont have to sell everything you make.

    Wow...way to discourage a kid!
Any ways...So what how old I am...
Does ANYBODY think they will sell??? Man!

Honestly, if I have to hear one more time the old line "I'm 14, and I made an app, lookee!" I'm going to spew.

I don't care if you're 10 yrs of age, or 50. Younger kids are not exempt from putting effort into apps being sold in the app store.

If you need help, there are plenty of resources here, good luck to you ;)

    Hey...thanks dude.
Do you know of any good programs that would help me make a cool looking icon?
I think all of mine are rather dull

photoshop and illustrator, or hire an artist, and don't try "I'm 14 I can't hire an artist." I'm 13 and I hired one.

Our game has sold 42 copys so far (at 0.99$): http://shadow-embryo.com/games/saucer-44/
I thought it was an good game, but the competition on the appstore is just insane.

    Heres an tip:
Don't write; "This game is full of amazing graphics, and is totaly worth your time!" if you don't got the screenshots to backup that statement:)

    Here's a start: http://biffybeebe.tumblr.com/theiconpack

An icon pack for only $10 bucks but the icon is just the beginning.

There are also graphics packs sold here by Ian (DebugDesign) in the Marketplace, and there was another great icon pack as well that was fabulous, and had many different resources to make icons.

Boy all of you think i'm stupid!
I'd like to see Mr "smart 13" year old's game!
I do have a hired Artist. He's made the images for most of my apps.
I just made the icons...But yeah...I should ask him to take over on them!
  • ccpccp Member Posts: 139
Thanks Sous Chef! Your awesome! I think I might buy that.
  • butterbeanbutterbean Member Posts: 4,315
    No problem!

Noone here thinks you're stupid at all. Kudos to you for undertaking a project like apps, it's not an easy task. It's just that hearing the "I'm 14 and made an app" routine does get a bit worn, and it's not exclusive to the GS forums. It's everywhere including TouchArcade forums as well.

Good luck and you're in the right place if you need help ;)

Hey guyzz Im 14 and i made an app and I spent a week on it and I want to make millionz and beat angry b1rds.

    or the

this is 50 $$$$ I cant buy it im only 14 give me the template for free plz so i can reupload it without changing anything.

Its actually kind of ridiculous how these kids (and I don't say kids relative to me, because I'm 14 myself) think that just because they are young, they are exempt from putting hard work into making a successful game. People when browsing on the app store, will take notice if it says made by a young kid. But that goes as far as the description. If they look and see crappy screenshots, no one is buying anything. Now please stop using being young an excuse, if you don't have the money to buy a template, go babysit. Or even ask your parents for money, and explain to them what its for. But just being young is no reason to make a bad game.

Looking back that rant went on many tangents but I have no time to reread it/edit. Oh well, that's my two (badly worded) cents.

Well said, digleto, though I think I'll start saying 'Look, I'm too old for this !@#$%. Just buy the bloody game!" from now on in my app descriptions!

    It might work!
