Image Size vs Avatar Size

Hello guys,
I have a problem that whenever I am working on the laptop the graphic looks good, when I test it on my iPhone all avatars are blurred.
I used 72DPI PNG and the avatars are following the rule of (16x16, 32x32...)
now I was wondering why this is happening?
I have my image sized 64x64 and the avatar size (attribute size is 64x64)
what am I missing?

Oh the mighty tshirtbooth replied to my post ! ^^
I am kinda sure, but is it that I have to make the image double the size of the avatar size ? or the same size should work ?

for resolution independence you want to design your images pixel size at 2x, but keep the pixel density at 72 always.

once you drag it into the game, you design your game as normal as if designing for a 480x320 game. when on a high resolution device the software will automatically use the higher resolution art.
