Don't understand your question... have you read any other parts of the site yet? The basic version, which includes iOS publishing is free.

I believe what he's asking is that he doesn't want to pay the developer's fee to apple.

Jon is right, you have to pay the $99.00 to do that.

that's right. As the GS viewer app is one that has to be compiled and installed to the device from xcode you need all the certificates and stuff to do that.

Apple would never allow something like the GS viewer app to be available in the appstore as it lets your device run arbitrary code. Therefore the only way is to compile and install as a developer.

To publish with gamesalad you need all your apple certificates and provisioning profiles to be able to sign the app so it will actually work on a device.

It is possible but not worth the effort, you would have to jump through a million hoops.

If you are really poor maybe some kind soul will do an adhoc build of the viewer for you.

you must pay the $99 to test on your device.

you're only other option, like Rob said, is to find someone who would build the viewer under adhoc mode using your UUID, but that's a pain, GS make's adhoc builds much easier than they really are.

You could always just make Mac games.

I'm not talking about Mac App Store games, but just apps that run on your Mac and can be downloaded from your personal website, for example.

Not au fait with how you'd monetise them, but I'd encourage you to be creative within games, even if you can't afford to do it on the iPhone. You'll learn heaps and it's fun!

    QS :D
