Testing iPhone app?

ElessarElessar Member Posts: 1
Hi there.

I'm new to Gamesalad.

So I've create a simple game, my first actually, to try and play with Gamesalad. Now how can I actually test the game on the iPhone?
I understand I need a provisioning profile. But how can I obtain that? Should I pay 99$ and enroll in the iOS developer program first?
Reason I'm asking is because the guides here are a bit outdated, and Apple has changed the layout of their portal.

Thanks!

you have to the 99 dev account with apple to get the viewer app on to your phone. Try the cookbook youtube channel for a walk through on how to set all that stuff up.

I have gone through the process of doing all these things but I don't want to publish to the store. I just want to install it on my iPhone and test it on there. Is there a specific option for this when publishing or a video to help me?

    Many Thanks,

I have the same question, I don't want to pay the $99 just to test it on my phone. I mean once I perfect the process and learn gamesalad alot better and come up with better games I will plop down the $99 but at this point I just want to test. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to test on your phone you must pay the $99 to become an apple developer. There is no other way.
