Help needed: my app got rejected:(

Hi.
My app just got rejected....
2.12: Apps that are not very useful, are simply web sites bundled as apps, or do not provide any lasting entertainment value may be rejected.

-I have seen other applications that have just about the same concept on app store, so i presume apple has "raised the bar" recently... since my app didnt go through.
-would it be wise to just upload the same app again in a week and hope that someone else from apple will clear for sale?
any ideas/hints?

    Yeah, they supposedly raised the bar a few weeks back. And I doubt it will get accepted if you submit it again.

    I don't know about whether Apple have changed their criteria, and I don't know whether you can just hope that a different reviewer will get it and approve it. My instinct, though, tells me that Apple would probably check to see whether you've just submitted the same app with no changes (it's the first thing I would do) and if you have then that's just going to annoy them.

    Have you posted some screenshots or demo video that we might look at and suggest why you've been '2.12ed'!

    That is unsettling.

    This would only go for sources of information right not games?
    I've also got an idea for an APP for healthy eating that believe it or not hasn't been done before, hope that gets accepted ...

    If your app is just a website feed, it will be rejected. Sometimes it pass, but these are by mistake.

    What does your app do? Its hard to cast a view on something we do not know the functionality to.

    Its a meditation app. It has 3 screens. One for selecting length of meditation 5/10 min.
    One that has the playback/pause/stop buttons. And one that has more info.
    The audio Is a guided meditation (female voice) with relaxing background sounds.
    We have made 3 apps available in both my native language and english.

    We plan on adding some extra functions before I upload the app again.

    yea, there are so many meditation apps out there, you really need to make your's stand out.

    well... the thing that makes it stand out is that it is in my native language... but we'll add some more:)
