Hi everyone,

My first App, Helicopters in Space!, is now on the App store! I am very excited!
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/helicopters-in-space/id423508974?mt=8&ls=1

A brief description of the game:

Helicopters in Space is an old-school early 16-bit style 2D shoot 'em up game featuring:
-5 levels
-Endless score attack mode
-Power-ups
-Boss Battles

Any feedback and constructive criticism is VERY appreciated! Thanks!

I like the retro look! Although you probably meant 8-bit? :)

Thanks for the kind words okimoki!

Perhaps 8-bit is a better descriptor...I was debating that myself. It's a little sharper than most NES games, but it could pass for a Master System game.

    Thanks Calvin!

May I ask what you liked / disliked about it?

If there's a lot of interest, I may add "Helicopters Under Water" as a bonus update!

Ok, noted. I am in talks with an artist and hope to have better graphics for future games.

How did you find the controls?

The graphics are 16 bit style - very much like early Atari ST games. They suit this type of game well.
