Mac App Store Rejection Surprise

So I waited about a week and a half for my app to be accepted for the Mac App Store and I was absolutely astounded when it was rejected. The exact same version was submitted for the iPad and was accepted, however Apple's reasoning was, "Apps must comply with all terms and conditions explained in the Apple Macintosh Human Interface Guidelines." I browsed over the guidelines and it seemed to me that it wasn't ascetically pleasing enough which is ridiculous as I'm a professional graphic artist and I take a lot of pride in my art. Has anybody received a notice like this? Any successful Mac App Store publishes? Anything I should know?
Could this be because I selected "Touch" as opposed to "Mouse Click" in all of my rules? Just a thought.

However if in the game there's a text that says "Touch here" it will go against the guidelines.
I would advise you change any art that points to an iPad or iPhone app.
Darren.
Nice to know that some apps got through to the store- it gives me hope!

It's not amazing by any means, but I still don't feel like it's worth rejection.
I'll send an email to Apple asking for clarification. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
