my drifting game

i made a beta of my drifting game D.R.F.T, and the controls are pretty good on my part, but now i want to know, is there any way i can have the user change the color of the car, or pause the game, or start menu? also, tell me what you guys think.

also. has anyone, when in preview mode, had their screen get shaded in, and then it tells your computer to restart. this is the 3rd time this happened to me in the last 2 weeks. this also only happens when im using gamesalad, only rarely in preview mode.
