Game Salad And Scripting?

This is just an idea and i know that GS is made to be simple and fun, but wouldn't it be better if developers could add C++ C# Java ect scripts to there objects. i mean it would give more possibilities (such as: Play itouch music, Make 3d, And other crap like that)

Its just an idea.

It would have to be a pro feature for sure, but I can't see GS implementing that feature. Personally, I've been a Windows programmer for over 2 years now, and I absolutely love the fact that you don't need to know how to code to use GameSalad.

  • Yes im not saying you "Have" to know im saying it could be an option. but this could lead to more errors and straining in everyone's life

It would be nice to be able to code a certain part of a game when it becomes beneficial, but I do think it would just complicate things. Interesting idea though.

This has been talked about many times. At one point GameSalad themselves even had plans of producing an xcode project so you could further customize your game. but that was scrapped. Couldn't say why but for now no dice. :(

Probably so people would have a reason to go pro.

I would expect you would have had to already be pro. I mean Pro did used to cost $2000/year
