Hi everyone! Hope you're well!
Time for another game from the sheep! Hurrah!
The game's called 'Air Supply - 1bit Run' (formerly 'Project AIR'), and unsurprisingly It's a runner - it would have been more impressive a month or so ago I'm sure, but hey, that's the way the cookie crumbles!
Because we don't have online features, the aim of the game isn't strictly to get as far as you can, but rather, to unlock stuff by picking up pickups, shooting enemies or running far!
Here's a quick vid I made:
And some 'blurb':
*** Your AIR is running out! ***
Ambushed on a standard trade journey between Lave and Diso, Spaceman Sam is shot down by pirates!
Now, stranded on an alien Moon, Sam must run for his life, avoiding meteorites, fearsome UFOs and enemies such as robots, aliens, and Space Monkey Zombie Pirate Cyborgs(!), hoping in vain to stay alive long enough to be rescued!
Features:
*Pure awesome gameplay: Run, jump, shoot, collect!
*Gorgeous Retina Display 1bit graphics in glorious black and white!
*Cosmic 1bit music by Mr. Beep, made using a ZX Spectrum! Six tracks to unlock!
*Grab powerups! Slow down your speed, grab a full tank of air, or protect yourself with shields!
*Gain ranks based on kills - from 'Harmless' to the coveted title of 'Elite'.
*Unlock everything! Play the game to unlock new characters, backgrounds, enemies, music and even colour!
*Special Guest appearances
*15 Achievements to attain!
*Fully iOS4 compatible
*More unlocks coming in updates!
*Amazingly addictive - just ask our testers!
**How long will you last before your Air Supply runs out???**
Essentially, your Air Supply is constantly going down - and you have to run and collect Air pickups to keep it topped up while avoiding hazards that make it go down even more!!!
Everything can be unlocked - new characters, levels, music... even colour...
Graphics are retina display enabled, and 1bit - i.e. on or off. Apart from the star background. Forgive me! The initial look and main character came from Mr. Funkleberry, who is, as you all know, AWESOME
Equally awesome is Basil Murad, who did the bulk of the graphics work! He's new to GS, but I just knew his style would fit the game. He's an AWESOME artist, and I urge you all to pay him for pretty pictures!
The music is by Mister Beep - all done using the ZX Spectrum's beeper! Much like the graphics, Miter Beep describes his music as 1bit - as there's no volume - the sound is either 'on' or 'off'.
There are six tracks in all to unlock, with more to come in updates!
I'd like to thank Mister Beep, Basil and Mr. Funkleberry - the game could not have been made without them!
Additionally, I'd like to sincerely thank Steve from Nexus Game Studios and Darren from Utopian Games. Following on from including Nulo's poodles in Attack of the Kraken, I managed to convince these gentlemen to let me use their characters in 'Air Supply'. Look out for 'Gravonaut', from the game of the same name, and 'Marv' from Running Wild as unlocks!
I'd also like to thank the people that tested the game for me - Basil again (!), my mate Jake, Butterbean, RDcube, Firemaplegames and Jgary.
Also, thanks to GameSalad itself. I couldn't have made this without you. Gawd bless ya, and all who sail in you!
Thanks to all of you guys!
Hope people enjoy playing it! I submitted it today so it'll be out within 2 weeks probably. I'm sending promo codes out to the testers and of course to various sites etc so won't have any spare till the next update! Sorry!
Cheers,
QS

I'm really impressed, dude... Awsome!
Oswaldo.
I'm honestly, seriously, staggered by the response. Thank you all so much for your kind words!
My thinking was that no-one would be very interested, considering it's a runner game, and there are plenty of those about!
I really hope the game lives up to your expectations!
Thank you all so much again! The last two days without sleep suddenly seem worth it!
