app rejected

I sent a LITE version of my app in to apple and they rejected it saying it crashed at a certain point.

I'm using the OS 4.2.1 they said it crashed on (8C148a) and when i play it through gs viewer I can't reproduce the crash.

I can seek further support from apple, but I'm curious if anyone has any advice on this. I have no idea how to read their crash report. If anyone is willing to help me on this, i'd be grateful. As well, is there a way i can install my .app to my phone and have it appear as an app and not through the gs viewer - as i wonder if that's the problem.

thoughts - please and thanks

you need to test an adhoc build. Thats putting it directly on your device like you said.

thanks - is that something i build when publishing out of GS? and then, how can i get that on my phone...

sorry if these are obvious questions.

go developer.Apple... log in...>>provisioningPortal ... provisioning profile>> Distribution >>in Distribution Method... select Ad Hoc

create it and download... and use it when you build in GS...

drag and drop...profile and build to your iPhone... as you do with any new app.

    Good Luck...

get to reading. should never have submitted to apple if you hadn't done an adhoc test. Just cause GameSalad makes it easy to make games doesn't justify cutting corners.
Just my 2 cents I suppose.

Hey guys, this worked and tenrdrmer, i agree and thanks. I really had no interest in cutting corners, just didn't know. I'm a bit new to this and appreciate you taking the time to send me that link.

Wiki is nice but this is what shows up?

    Whats up?

Can anyone describe the process to make an adhoc build - I have never done
    one before.

    Thanks

Here is an old post found using the search. It describes sending betas to others so you can ignore the bottom of it.

if you made a release build then you can make an adhoc its the same steps accept when you make the provisioning profile click development tab rather then distrobution everything ellse is the same after you build it with GS theres a test option that opens itunes and syncs the app

    hope this helps a little
