Won't import Wav

Hi Y'all, Am I missing something, or did I used to be able to just drag a .wav in and it'd convert it for me. I am currently unable to import any wav, by dragging or trying to actually load one in, they're just greyed out.
Anyone else having this trouble, or just me?

    you could also try to install Audacity (sooner or later you'll need it anyway) and then export straight to the ogg format, ready to drop into GS! :)

    Thanks Chaps, have been an Audacity evangelist for years now - open as we speak - have converted the wavs to oggs, as normal, but was sure that the other day I was able to drag a wav straight in?
    I would've done the converting myself with Aud eventually anyway, for optimizing, but only wanted to try some sounds out - I couldn't be bothered to convert them at the time!
    Can you confirm that I am not going mad and that the auto converting of a dragged wav into an ogg is normal behavior (that I am currently not experiencing?!)
