Resizing apps?

AldoAldo Member Posts: 53
I'm making a game where I use scanned images. The problem is that every scan has a different size: one is very thin, and the other one is very wide (or fat). Is there any programme which can "resize" the scannes so that they have the same size?

I have Gimp, but this app looks rather strange for me. Is there any other one?

    Maybe try Inkscape?

    It's free.

    Hey Aldo,
In gimp, import the images (in what ever format you have them) each in its own layer!
Then manipulate the opacity (transparency) to re-size each layer to the reference image (the one which has the "ideal" dimensions.

It will be helpful if you temporarily hide layers you are not working with so that just the reference and the one you are adjusting are visible.

Once you have the layer adjusted, move the opacity back to 100%

Such jobs are a bit tedious but GIMP can do this just fine :)
