Sequence of background images

I have about 20 sperate images in JPEG format that I want to use as the background so that when the actor moves the background also changes, and the actor appears in different places not in the same place when using only one background....Is this possible??? I am new to gamesalad

    so is the problem with the ipod/iphone memory or that gamesalad can't handle all these pictures?? the resolutions are 960 x 640..and there are many games that have different backgrounds, as the iPhone 4G, iPod 4G and iPad have 256 -512MB RAM...What do you think??

    images in GS have to be png.... so save each jpg image as a png... resolution 72 dpi... sized for the device you are creating for...

    GS can handle as many pix as you put in as it is on your desktop... devices have memory limits

    you can use triggers via Rules to implement changeImage behavior... moving actor's attribute (ex: position)

    or if you want a scrolling bg to activate with the actor...lots of demoes... in your GS program splash screen>select New ( + ) and type in scroll in the magnifying/Filter at the top.

    wow, i think 1 post would have been fine on the topic.
    As tshirt stated it would most likely kill the performance of 20 images at 960x640..
    How big are the file sizes of each image?

    It certainly would kill the performance on the older iphones / itouches..

    the largest picture is 290KB and the lowest is 200KB.......I am only releasing this game for latest devices: iPad (Now 2G soon)...and iPhone/iPod 4G..What do you think??
