lol yea
well i just played the game its nicely polished. i did notice some slow downs when destroying the buildings but it was rare and the slowdowns were MICROSCOPIC. and the only reason i noticed them was prolly because i have AWESOME vision lol
i could be wrong but i noticed u didnt have a gamesalad splash screen (then again i was multitasking for a minute here)
the music is pretty cool. DRAMATIC for sure.
i saw in the comments in the appstore one guy said he didn't like the graphics. i did like em.. the crayon / doodle style looks pretty awesome when done right, like u did (with the shadowing and all that)
2 days in i have 36 sales, including the 10 promo codes or so i have sent out. So... Not great. I started sending out review requests today, so hopefully people pick it up. I'm also starting a contest on twitter to drum up support
So I noticed you're almost in the top 100 games, so what does that mean in sales for the Mac Store? Were you on the list before today? I still haven't purchased a Mac dev license so I'm wondering if it's worth it...
I don't know when I made the list, where did you see it? I've done NO marketing so far because i've had a busy week, but the game will have paid for the dev license within the next 3 days, and this isn't even the game I bought it for.
I just went in to the mac app store, categories, games, and then the top paid list. You were #111, I believe. Well you'll have to let us know how sales were for today when you find out
Version 1.7 was released last night. Time from submission to approval was only 3 days! My other new app has been in queue for over a week now.
