I have images for my GameSalad game which has resolution independence. When I drag them in they become around 8 times to small! Yes they are PNG, and have 72 dpi. I tried getting other png image from the internet, and when i dragged it in it became 4 times as small! When got a jpeg image from the internet, it became the proper 2 times as small. I just tried getting another PNG image from the internet and it became 2.6 times as small. WHAT IS GOING ON?????? I just want my backgrounds with resolution independence to be 2 times as small!!!!!

You prob have a bunch of transparent areas in your art. You need to crop a's much if that stuff out a's possible.

there are no transparent parts. I got an artist to do them and there's nothing wrong with them. But when I drag in the character he made a while ago, it becomes exactly double.

i just tried putting art i'm using in my game into a new project and it's all fine. But one again when I try dragging the backgrounds in they're about 8 times to small.

have you checked your files with OS X preview? Just do a little screen grab (cmd+shift+4) and if that displays wrong in GS then something weird is up.

I have this problem, but when I stretch it to fit the screen it looks all blurry etc but when it goes to the iPhone the images look normal

Check your images dpi, try it at 72 dpi. That's what fixed this same issue for me.
