You might be able to get by with that as long as the goal of the game is to keep them out. They may not like the goal being to smuggle it in.

How do you play your game? You might be able to slightly change the object without completely ruining the game.

There was a GS user a while back that made a game with a drug theme and it got rejected so he had to change it to sugar or candy or something. In my opinion it hurt the games sales a lot and I can only guess that it ended up being a disappointment. So I recommend staying away from it. Here's what I did with a game that I knew might get rejected. I made the game with the controversial elements in it but only made one level. I submitted it under a similar name as the one I planned to ultimately use. I figured that if they let the game through I would just pull it and start putting time into the full game. It turned out that the game was rejected and they even called me to tell me why. But it was not a big deal because I had only invested a small amount of time into the project.

No, but it will be 17+

GTA is on the app store, as long as you don't go overboard or try to send it as 4+ it should pass.

Remember that the rules are not applied equally. Cut the rope has a box that says "coming soon." If you put "coming soon" in reference to levels that are not in currently in the game apple will reject it. I'm not sure I would put a ton of time into project because GTA is allowed to have it. Big named games like GTA make apple a lot of money. Even if they don't make a ton of profit from their 30% it helps them sell devices when people can say "Wow, it even has GTA!"

    Anyways just my two cents

Grand theft auto china town for the iphone is all about how your a drug dealer. The point of the game is to buy and sell them. It's been on the app store for a long time.

On a related note, will my play, meth of a salesman, ever get onto broadway?

If the game was about "fake" drugs. Like, illegal bananas from guatamala. Or, illegal animal trafficking, like trying to bring French Bulldogs into America...

    Would that get denied?
