Invalid Binary

For some reason itunes connect keeps saying that my app has an invalid binary. I'm using the correct Distribution Provisioning Profile and have the correct certificates. Also, when I try to compress the .app file using OSx's built in compress function it gets stuck.

Did you just make just the one distribution profile for your account, or did you make one for your account, and then another one for the game you are submitting?

I may be a little confused. In the Provisioning Portal under Provisioning on the left I have a Profile for my App.

You have to have a distribution profile for your account, and then when you are ready to submit, you have to make another distribution profile for the game itself. You have to make a new dist. profile for every app you make. This is different from the dist. profile that you made for your account.

And in GS when you are publishing, make sure you choose your new dist. profile you just made.

That would be your app ID

    No dice :(
I've created a new distribution profile for the game, and selected it when publishing with gamesalad. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Maybe something is wrong with my game, as I can't compress the .app file using OSx instead of Gamesalad. It just freezes and hangs at 5 secs left. I heard that Gamesalad sometimes has problems compressing it, so I tried that. Either way, I can't submit my game. Any ideas?

I'd do a restart of your computer, and rebuild the project with GS again. If you can't compress the GS file with OSX, then something is wrong.

Can't find it because on my iPhone but I remember a thread about
A folder is bad. That's why compress get stuck. Can't remember the folder but they created anew folder with same name on desktop copied all conents from original folder into new one on desktop. Then deleted original and replaced with new.
Hope that points you in the right direction

@scoots It seems like it might be something like that. It's really frustrating. I tried using another program to compress it and although it does compress, I still get an invalid binary error on itunes connect. I can't seem to find the thread though.

Ok yay! I found the thread. http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=1989#post-10815
I had to show the contents of the actual project file, make duplicate folders for everything inside, then had Gamesalad rebuild everything. Thank you for all your help guys.
